WPA is creating a new volunteer program to maintain all the beds planted by the WPA. Volunteers will work through the spring and summer to maintain the WPA’s existing garden sites. Volunteer activities will include weeding, watering, and fertilizing plants. These activities will ensure a WPA presence at all garden sites through the spring and summer. WPA will provide garden tools, soil, mulch, and fertilizer to volunteers. We train volunteers on how to perform their tasks and how to work with County maintenance staff on the ground in Washington Park, as necessary. Click here to email for more information.
