Second Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser at the Loew's Theater: 2013
At the WPA's annual fundraiser, the WPA and Friends of the Loew's honored the historian and preservationist John Gomez of Jersey City. Mr. Gomez was presented with the Dr. Ulamor Allen Community Champion Award.
The reception was in the Grand Lobby of the historic Loew's Theater in Jersey City. General admission tickets included wine tastings and food. The reception was followed by a silent auction and live entertainment.
This fundraiser raised money for the WPA's Washington Park LIVE! event, which will be on Saturday, September 21st, 2013, and for STAGEfest 2014, an event that will be at the Loew's Theater.
